Educators' thinking about the Flipped Classroom has moved beyond the hype and into asking serious questions about the efficacy of this approach, and what the real teaching and learning challenges are that should guide our selection and application of technology. In this presentation, I tell a near-future story about two fictional college students, deconstruct this story to create a model for effective use of technology in the classroom, online, and in informal learning spaces, then share a vetted list of technologies available for faculty to use today.
